GNOME 2.20 released

...and it looks like I will be sticking with GNOME for another 6 months after all!

Even the most annoying thing about Epiphany seems to be fixed - the address bar. Also I no longer have to sync my Tomboy notes with an automated SVN commit. I'm close to forgiving it for being written in C#...

Do read!

And I'm just installing Tribe 5 Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon on a friends laptop. Updating ATM :).

TBH there was nothing visibly new in 2.20 in the 5 hours I've used it.

But it made me curious to check the site again and see if there's anything kewl planned for future releases. I'm also going to see what this release brings that's actually new...

OTOH I can't wait to run KDE4 :D!

Remember how Harry Potter helps Ron with clearing the Weasley's garden?
The procedure involves removing a gnome from the garden, spinning it around until it is dizzy, and then flinging it over the garden wall.
